Poetry and Place
Reverence is what I bring to the mountains. Poetry and photographs are what the mountains give me. The since of place is something that I want to share. The pieces are designed to rest and inspire from many places within a room. The smaller pieces can sit on surfaces or hang on walls. The bigger pieces can create the room, changing relation to space; hung as dividing features or a central focus that can give an anchor. Your relation to the artwork is my desire, and how a feeling of place can be part of the spaces around us.
Resting Rock
Sitting on two and three points, these rocks paint the mountains. They are the remnants of what were larger mountains; relics and still they define this high alpine area. This boulder sits above a thirty foot cliff. In the background, the lower part of the Prusik Peak ridgeline.
Hike and climb with reverence.

Chimney Rock V
Though this area is visited by thousands, this is not the view seen. So ominous from the frontside, Chimney Rock is more inviting from the north. More regal from this angle than its counterpart to the right, Prusik Peak. This wilderness provides inspiration.
Tread with care.

Remember Me
I grew from a seed, washed by the wind. Settling by this rock I became. Interested in where I could grow, who could be my friend. Finding granite for shelter I grew. Maybe you wouldn’t notice; this place was home. The years past and so did I.
Brightened by the sun I stay.
